Back to Schools introductory page Oaklands is a fine specimen of an Edwardian building, located in a very narrow residential street off the Boston Manor Road. The school has had mixed fortunes, but has shown signs of steady improvements under strong leadership from its head, who joined in 2001. Its perfomance in science is very good. The OFSTED report produced in March 2003 points to above average achievement by Year 6, with particular strengths in art and design, and in the positive atmosphere of the school.
